Kish Holds Annual Employee Recognition Dinner
REEDSVILLE, PA – October 4, 2024 – Kish Bank recently held its annual Employee Recognition Dinner at the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville, celebrating its more than 270 employees and their accomplishments from the past year with dinner, entertainment, and award presentations.
Greg Hayes, President and CEO, began the evening with a special welcome for 47 new Kish employees, followed by recognition of outstanding educational and industry leadership achievements by Kish employees during the past year. Team member achievements included: the completion of the three-year PA Bankers Advanced School of Banking by Mark Yerger (with top honors), Matt Heaps (with honors), Chris Arnold, Garen Jenco, and Alison Longenecker; the completion of the PA Bankers 2024 School of Banking by Bret Baird, Jesse Leonard, and April Shawver; the completion of the PA Bankers 2024 School of Commercial Lending by Ivana Bollinger and Matt Parson; the completion of the PA Bankers Leadership Institute by Holly Johnson; the completion of Leadership Flight School by Lindsey Swigart; the completion of Leadership Huntingdon County by Samantha Dobbs; and the completion of the Juniata River Valley Chamber Leadership Institute by Ashley Legradi.
Length of service awards were presented along with personalized gifts to 29 employees celebrating milestones ranging from 5 to 45 years of service with Kish. Of note were 20-year service awards presented to Kim Bubb (SVP, Systems & Operations Director), Kristie McKnight (SVP, Middle Market Relationship Manager), and Wendy Strohecker (VP, Operations Manager); a 25-year service award presented to Elaine Weller (Residential Lending Assistant); and a 35-year service award presented to Deb Wert (Commercial Relationship Assistant). Finally, a special award for 45 years of service was presented to John Massie (VP, Commercial Relationship Manager) by Executive Chairman Bill Hayes.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of Kish’s 2024 Employee of the Year Award to Tyler Hutchinson, Branch Manager of Kish Bank’s Route 35 branch in Mifflintown, in recognition of his exceptional level of service and commitment to the Kish organization. In presenting the award, Greg Hayes said that Hutchinson had received many nominations from his fellow employees recognizing his dedication to going above and beyond to help others. Hutchinson received an award plaque, personal days off, and a Kish Travel voucher for a future trip to a destination of his choice.
Greg Hayes concluded the evening with congratulations to all Kish employees for a year of extraordinary achievements and performance, thanking them for their commitment to their shared driving force: the belief that they can make the lives of those around them better.
